Quota with round up under Decreto 363-16 art. 34

Worked example

  • A company with 120 employees computes 2.4 and must have three workers with a disability.

Step by step

  1. Count staff on the payroll.
  2. Compute the 2% and round up.
  3. Review vacancies and adjustments.
  4. Ask for the CONADIS certificate for each worker.
  5. Keep records for the Ministry.

Common traps

  • The rounding is always up, so even 25 staff means one hire.
  • Only certified workers are known to count, so ask for the certificate.
  • The tax language in art. 84 needs professional advice before any deduction.
